Hello! :) I know what it feels like to be made fun of and to be called a dork and just have people not really like me for no reason. Of course everyone will say no suicide is never the answer and truly it isn't. To tell you the truth the only reason why people make fun of you or pick on you is because they are immature and they aren't happy with their selves's. The way I dealt with people making fun of me is honestly ignoring it. :) I know that may seem hard cause you might already be doing that or if your not try it :) yes, it does get hard when people are constantly messing with you and trying to bring you down but, the truth is like i said they aren't happy with their selves so they have to bring you down in order to bring their self esteem up. The people that made fun of me in middle school guess where they have gone... no where some of them have even dropped out of high school... it's sad to see that. :( Believe it or not one of the people who were the meanest to me is now one of my closest friends and I could never live without her. Eventually those people came back to me in the future and apologized for being so mean. I forgave them :) I like to try and reach out to the people who get made fun of because I know from firs hand experience how it feels. :) I was very awkward in middle school but now that I am in High School I have lots of people who like me and look up to me. I try and set a good example for those around me and it really does make a difference! :) When it comes to school work sometimes you have to take and extra leap to try to reach your goals. I think you have a very dry sense of humor and I like it. You don't say where you live or went to school, but wherever it was, it was not a school system that was good for you or your abilities. If you had been born into a weathy family you would not be having these problems. Yes, i believe you can succeed in college. You write well and in an organized manner, which is pretty much the most important thing they look for. If you can read half-way decently(and I suppose you can since you passed your GED on the first try) you should be alright. The big problem you are facing, which is not at all unusual for a young person, is finding out what you want to do with your life, and working at Taco Bell is probably not it. I have no suggestions there, except to tell you that it took my own daughter until the age of 26 to decide that she wanted to work in the medical field because she felt that she could really make a difference in people's lives in that area and that would make her feel that her life mattered. I am a teacher for the same reason and my husband became a firefighter for the same reason and one of my students went into EMS for the same reason. I think you need to find some field that will make you feel that your being ther will make a difference to even just one life. But if you don't have any direction yet, start with a community college general program. I know they can be boring, but they train you in research skills and writing skills, which any program will need. You will be find once you find your path. /be patient and keep your eyes open. Your path is out there somewhere and you will find it. Good luck.

Why do my hands get hot,red, and itchy?

Im 14 going 15 and this has been happening for years on certain occasions. Sometime when Ive been holding something or carrying something that puts allot of wait on my hands or pushes hard on my hands(for example vacuuming, taking out trash, etc etc...) my hands will get hot and most of the time itchy. Its terrible during the winter when my hands are exposed to the cold weather they also get red and itchy. Also sometimes my fingers(most of the time my thumbs) well get swollen for no reason and most of the time sore. Now the first one when usually wears off within a couple of minutes after the pressure is taken off of my hands, the second one I really dont remember since its summer time and I usually dont take the time to see how long it takes(because it too eventually wears off), and the third one(the most annoying one) sometimes takes until the next day to wear off. I already know what causes the first two but the third is a complete mystery to me. What I want to know is what all three are, what causes them, how to prevent them. Ive told my mom about it a few times but she always says as long as they wear off Im find, and maybe she's right but just to be on the safe side I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me out.

im a surfer in scarborough north yorkshire, every time i go surfing about a week later the skin on my hands and the base of my feet goes all dry and waxy then starts to peel off, this happens everytime i go surfing, does anyone else have the same problem? i cant stop surfing and ive tried all sorts of barrier creams but nothing seems to help. can anyone help? thanks

Can someone identify this Winchester .22 Long rifle?

I recently inherited a Winchester .22 Long rifle from my grandfather when he passed away. I have been trying to look for information on the gun online to see if there's anything I need to know before I shoot it. But I can't find the gun anywhere! I know it is Winchester because it is branded as such on the barrel. I also know it is .22 long because it is designated as such below the Winchester stamp. But I am unsure of the model. The gun is quite old (I don't know manufacture date but it's been around for decades) and I don't think it's made anymore. The gun has a loading mechanism where rounds are inserted into a tube that leads up to the chamber. A spring loaded pole must be unscrewed and puled out to expose a cartridge shaped hole on the bottom of the tube (which is below the barrel) to load rounds. The gun has a pump action that also cocks a fully functioning hammer (a possible substitute?) It's fairly easy to field strip as one tool-less screw needs to be undone to open the chamber. Can anyone enlighten me as to the model number of this gun as I'm looking forward to learning more about it and taking it out to shoot. If I get the chance I will upload photos to provide added clarity. Any help is much appreciated!

Suspected mold in rental unit?

My family & I recently moved 100 miles into a rental house. The owner is still trying to sell the house but is renting it through a property management company in the mean time. When we looked at the house we were aware there was a leak in one of the rooms & we were told it was to be fixed shortly. Since moving in there has been an exceptional amount of rain in our area. We have lived here for over a month now & nothing has been done to repair the roof. The realtor brought a contractor over to look at it, but that was well over 2 weeks ago. We have heard from several people that this house has been for sale for over 2 years and the current owner has received estimates from every contracting company in town, literally EVERY one(it's a town with a population of less than 20,000). My husband works for one of them & his boss said when he did the estimate for the owner he didn't want to pay for anything. He got the impression he was only getting estimates to make it seem like he was going to fix it, but really just wants to sell it as is. As a result of all the rain there now appears to be black mold growing on the exposed insulation in the room with th leaking roof. My 3 year old son constantly has a runny nose ans we both constantly seem to have what feels like pink-eye. I also experience frequent headaches. These are not problems we experienced before living in this house. I'm concerned for our health, but since moving I have lost my job so we don't have money to just move again. What are my steps here an who do I need to contact, the property management or the realtor? I don't have a number for the owner himself.

How do I get my dogs used to each other?

Ok, we got a chow chow mix from the humane society yesterday, and my dogs still won't play with her. I have two other dogs, one male and one female. The female won't play with her, but isn't growling at her anymore. The male is doing the thing with her where they circle around each other while sniffing each other, but if she gets near his face or tries to play with him he growls at her. How long does it usually take to get a new dog acquainted with the dogs that were already in the house? Is there anything I can do to expedite the process? I'm also afraid that my dogs shunning her and growling at her can cause her to become aggressive to other dogs/animals, and maybe to people. Are these fears legitimate? My aunt lives next door with 3 friendly dogs and her sons unfriendly one. I'm going to wait until her son moves out (it shouldn't be too long) and then I'm going to take her over there to play with the friendly dogs to keep her socialized. In the mean time, I'm trying to keep her exposed to as many people daily as I can. We took her to the vet today and she was fine with everybody and let a stranger pet her. My grandpa says the male dog is only trying to assert his dominance and that he will be less aggressive once he feels he's done that. I don't know if that is correct or not. Anyhow, we haven't had her for even 24 hours yet; we got her at 3:00 pm yesterday. I'm not sure of her age, the people at the humane society said 4 months, then 6 months, and the vet said under 4 months because she doesn't have any adult teeth growing in yet. The male dog is around a year old or so. The female is between 3-5 years old.

I accidentally let the cleaner bleach sit too long?

I dyed my hair today and noticed a few accidental spots of dye that must have dripped onto the lid of my toilet from my hair while I was dying it. I sprayed some bathroom cleaner with bleach included onto the seat and was going to wait a few minutes and then wash it. However, Thing started happening and I was distracted. A few hours later, the acid of the cleaner apparently ate through the lid a bit by the time I had remembered and now parts of the lid of the seat are yellow-orange. Yes, I know, complete imbecile. I'm Having Really Bad Thought's. I Don't No where else to turn. I Been threw a lot in and out of Forster care sense i was 13teen. My mom was on pills really bad so me and my sister got took. we moved from Forster care homes in till we got place with a family friend. We hated living there she was so mean all she did was scream. But we took it because she lived right down the street from my grand mother. so we got to see her. My mom always had money so she would buy us all new pairs of shoes all new clothes give us money to go to the shop to get our hair done. i guess she felt bad .So i was very poplar in middle school because i had all the new shoes and things everybody loved me. Despite what i was going threw. so when i got out of middle school everything went down from there. i left all my friends and went to this school where thing's wasn't going great. so i stop going to school so i stay at home all day in my room sleeping all day. time pass and i turn 16teen and the lady i had been staying with had took over my mom rights so i was out of Forster care. i didn't have to check in with my workers anymore. So i left her house to go stay with my mom and she was still bad on pills but i wanted to be with her i didn't care. This is where the bad thoughts come in at. Every sense i was younger i was the only child for a long time i was lonely my mom never really was around she was a party girl always out at night club's the only thing i had was nice things.From 7 years old till now i have bad dreams about dieing and everyone i love dieing almost every night i have dreams about getting on drugs and getting rape. it been like this sense i was young. my mom was never around so i use to stay up all night so i wouldn't dream. Then my mom got hook on drugs really bad. i use to see her friends use all types of drugs. I was expose to this at a young age. Fear of sharks and I am a surfer?

I surf from the San Diego coast to the LA coast. However I will be spending my summer in La Jolla in San Diego county and will be surfing pretty much every day for 3 months. The area just had a shark attack in the past couple weeks, a fatal attack in 2008 and is known to have a lot of great whites. I actually saw a great white when I was looking from the bluffs last week. I am starting to get freaked out because I live in a great surf area, but there seem to be a high amount of attacks in the area during the summer. What do I do? Finding records of a C.M.H Recipient?

Near the end of ww2 my Grandfather who was 2nd A.I.F, was involved in a combined action with some American troops. Some family say they were marines some say they were army, Pa never really talked about it. The upshot is that a young man named Julian Van Noy (not sure of spelling) stayed out in an exposed area and was cut off and killed, I new he was posthumously awarded the CMH and that he was on of the youngest to be awarded it but what I wasn't aware of was that my Grandad wrote a letter to his parents that was later used in evidence to make the award. My Aunty has his old war diary which she won't let anyone look at and I was wondering if there was any chance things like this were kept recorded and if so would I be able to obtain a copy somehow. Simply to get a bit of an insight into my Grandad who was my hero but I learnt more about him at his funeral than I did during the 35 years of life that I had with him. To get the right board, you should go to a local surf shop. Talk to the people there about getting the right board for your weight, ability, and the conditions that you will be surfing in. They are trained and will get you the right board so you won't waste any money getting the wrong one. Why Is The Word "Retard" Considered Offensive When The Word Emerged To Replace Earlier Labels?

Hes a boy and its the beach, what would be wrong with him going shirtless. The t shirts for girls in Hollister & A&F are very thin and rip easily. For the price it's not worth it. I think it's very juvenile to wear a t shirt that has a brand plastered across the chest. You're a walking billboard who looks like you should be in middle school trying to be popular. A lot of people can afford it, not just the "cool" kids. As for men t shirts, they are thicker and do last longer. I would leave the middle east and pull back all military bases in foreign nations. take away the patriot act and the right to torture legalize marijuana and attempt to set up a good regulation on corporations so they dont have so much control.
