Help me settle something with my cousin...?

My cousin thinks people who can out of prisons are smarter than people who design and create computer software on a high level (e.g. Bill Gates). He also thinks that some of the smartest people in the world are those who break out of prison. IF THEY WERE THAT FUC*ING SMART THEY WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN SENT TO PRISON!! How can I convince him that he's an imbecile and he's wrong. BTW, he is VERY dumb, he thinks he's a 'gangsta' even though he's as white as a sheet and loves spongebob squarepants (he's 16), and thinks if Einstein was so smart, why couldn't he invent the circle! He's very dumb. PLEASE HELP!! IT'S VERY IRRITATING!!
