As long as you and your friends aren't all waiting for the same man, I don't think you're doing anything wrong. In fact, take it a step further and get together on Father's Day-you're not fathers either (and I don't think you'll ever be). Maybe you 2 "friends" will see how ridiculous they are and stop their nonsense. Otherwise, forget them. It sounds like you have other friends that understand just fine.
