How to get a good hair cut?

i can never get good hair cut, Never!! every time i go to a different place or constantly try different looks they all look like crap!! Am sick of it!! Were do i go?? i have medium long hair and its straight... so please help me out. oh also no exposing the forehead.... i hate that... so please help out
