What do southern girls think about California boys?

so in the fall ill be going to ole miss for school and i was wondering what the girls there are gonna think of me. im not the typical californian surfer dude with blond hair... i dont even surf but i do skate sometimes. i just want to know what the girls out there like in a guy ect. i was there for orientation and the style of closes are way different then ive ever seen. for example all the guys wore shorts that were above their knees and if you have shorts on that are above your knees in california theres something wrong with you haha. also some girls i talked to said they liked my accent which i thought was super funny.
