Do 'christians' who preach of a literal?

'hell' or 'heaven' or a 'god'' know just how silly they appear to rational people? When someone yammers on about the 'rapture' and how all the 'holy' will suddenly be taken up into heaven, even out of their cars on the freeway, do they know that rational people think of them as almost dangerously delusional? When some 'christian' tells and atheist how non-belief is going to condemn him or her to eternal agony in 'hell' does the 'christian' register surprise when the atheist laughs in his/her face and calls him/her an utter imbecile?
